Basic Rules To Race By

1.  There will be only 2 restarts allowed, if you still have problems you will be pitted and out of the race.

2.  Keep steering assist on at all times during racing on Sundays, practice races is not mandatory.  All races will be in arcade and realistic mode.

3.  There will be no crossing the yellow line on passing; doing so will result in a penalty.

4. There will be NO caution laps, race clean, and you wont get behind.  As time goes by, and drivers get better, then caution laps will be implemented.

5. If it is found that the same person(s) continually cause incidents, then that driver will be put on a one (1) week suspension, and not allowed to race. Further incidents will result in point’s loss or other penalties.

6. When entering and exiting pits, make sure you stay low and use autochat to inform the other drivers of your intentions which should be done on the back stretch of the race.

7. Slow and lapped cars need to stay high. If you are slower than the car behind you and unable to stay in front of them in a safe manner, please go high or instruct the driver which way to pass you. Its just good sportsmanship!

8. Auto chat is to be used whenever possible. This is to minimize chatting during the course of the race. It is hard to concentrate with people chatting!

9. Listen to your spofters, they will tell you if there is a car next to you. And use the mirrors; if you can see the whole car in your mirror, then you are clear.  If you only see a partial car image, then you are not clear.

10. Hold your line, or stay in your lane. The smoother the car is, the faster it will go!

Passing

It is the overtaking drivers responsibility to execute a clean pass.

Pitting

You must indicate by the 3rd turn of the track before pitting by pressing #1 then enter.

Blocking, Passing, Slower and Lapped traffic

1. At no time other then racing for position may you take away the overtaking drivers line. B. If a faster car is a lap down and overtaking you, you may not take away his line.

2. If you are a slower car at anytime other then racing for position near the end of the race you may not
take away the overtaking drivers line.

3. When racing for position you may make one move to take away the overtaking drivers line. You cannot make a second (i.e. swerving) move to takeaway an overtaking drivers line at any time.

4. On ovals, slower traffic must move high or out of the way at it's earliest possible time. However the overtaking driver must execute patience and caution overtaking at all time. The overtaking driver must not force a driver being overtaken into the gray and he must alk)w safe racing room.???????

5. When passing slower traffic involved in it's own "battle for position" the overtaking driver may not barge his way through. However the slower battle must at it's earliest convenience let the faster traffic through.

Spinouts

1. When a driver spins by any means and is still on the track and not facing in the direction that traffic is going he must immediately call for a tow truck by hitting CTR-T if visibility prevents him from either seeing far enough back to unsafely turn around, or if traffic is heavy enough to unsafely turn around for 10 seconds.

2. If you spin twice on your own you must pit for repair and or adjustments and or consider retirement. Spinning on your own 3 times, you must retire. If you consistently have trouble with setups, your’ drivers buddy will help you with setups.

3. If a driver makes contact and has damage that creates a situation of a less then controllable car, which could cause his car to spin or interrupt the flow of the race or collide in anyway with another vehicle he must stop and repair his car. This includes rear damage where your spoiler is split.

NOTE: Everyone has damaged his or her front right fender on exit of a comer when making contact with the wall. This usually does not cause a condition requiring a participant to stop and make repairs. However splitting a spoiler usually does create a need to make immediate repairs. All rulings regarding this item will be at the discretion of the rules committee and can be enforced by the League Official during a race. If the League Official calls for a participant to stop and make repairs he must do so. Failure to heed a call by the League Official will result in the participant’s exclusion from the event.

Replays

All participants must save their race replays for one week. If the rules committee requires a participant’s replay it must be available. When the race is complete immediately save your replay. If a replay is called for by the rules committee and is not made available the offender may be excluded from the result.

No flaming or whining

Flaming is demonstrating belligerent regard for any participant. Discussing an incident is not considered a flame. However all discussion regarding incidents should be carried on in private conversations such as whispers or taken to a private chat lobby. Violations of the flaming rule can cause event exclusion. There will be no discussions during the race.

If there is a problem with a particular driver, you can address this to the officials and they will decide on the matter. We will not "willy-nilly" remove drivers unless they consistently can't handle it. This is for fun; if you are not out to have fun, don't be here.

**There will be a meeting following the race on LivVe in the grown up lobby to discuss the race and
any problems that may have occurred during the race.  Do not discuss the race during the race.

Penalties will be issued by the directors based on actions observed by the directors in race replays and/or through the formal protest process.
